The Air Up There - The Tale of Two Sisters
Flight Attendants in A Fight Over Lousy Bangs
Have received an email last night about two sisters, “Lourdes and Michelle”, allegedly Flight Attendants of a respected and high-class airline, Emirates. It was supposedly a letter from a certain writer of Philstar, “Mons”, and it chronicles the not-so-savory encounter in one beauty salon.
What i found odd about the email is that, there are two ID picture-type shots of the two sisters. Where did those come from?@*~ It would have been more believable if it was a phone video footage, complete with shaky hands shot, whispered narration, poor illumination and pixelation, hekhehe.
If the story was true, then that was so “un-classy” of the sisters. High class pa naman ang airline na un. Lesson, let us NOT be so high-up-in-the-clouds, that we all look down on others from the end of our noses. That should tell you something about pressurized cabins - it is not compatible with anger management.
If that did not happen at all, ano kaya ito, character assassination?
and, btw, if that was a real letter, written by a real person, addressed to a real Emirates officer, regarding a real incident, involving real sisters, then my question is:
SINO ANG NAG-LEAK NYAN SA INTERNET!!! Confidential kaya dapat yun! Ahuhuy! Lagot kayo…

I just read the email this afternoon and I must say I too am embarrassed with the way these two girls acted in a public place. But I have another concern. If this was a true letter from a Philippine star columnist, how come there are so many grammatical errors? If he really is a writer, we would be reading a perfect letter with no errors at all considering the fact that he is writing a formal letter to a huge company.
I noticed that too. Full of grammatical errors nga.
BTW, "Mons" being referred to as the alleged writer is a she. Google the full name, a woman named as such does write for Philstar.
Actually, this topic is not surprising as lots of Filipinas are like that in the UAE. I do not know what it is but when they get fortunate enough to be hired with such high-class airlines, their morals become so degradingly low. Their attitude change as if their feet don't touch the ground, they think they are higher than most people. It is not only Filipinas who work as cabin crews, even those in other departments and of course the name-dropping is often associated with it, it's what makes them think they are better than others. They make us feel ashamed being Filipinas sometimes. Such attitude does not only affect these people but the Filipinas in general.
Some other flight attendants from other airlines would be even be in groups in bars and we do dub them as -----(nameofairline)--- escort service. Too bad, so sad, but so true.
